What features are critical for LED whip lights that are installed onto golf cart

Although most of the time golf cart is not off-road, it requires the critical features such as durability, visibility/safety and control. For this purpose, RGBW LED whip lights are often installed on the top of ceiling or handle exposed to the elements and potential bumpers.

For outdoor application, it is necessary to consider IP67 waterproofness and fully protected against the dust. Also, the tube of LED whip light itself should be flexible enough and made of durable materials such as polycarbonate or fiberglass to guard against vibrations from bumpy rides. Also, a heavy duty quick-disconnect metal base is important for easy removal during the transportation, the reinforced metal base can offer superior durability and help absorb shock to prevent the led whip light from snapping when bent. The 3-pin wiring connections must also be waterproof  to prevent short circuits from rain or washing the cart.

For the main purpose of safety, the extra white LEDs are critical because a true,bright,non-tinted white light is much better for actual illumination rather than mixing RGB to get "whiteness".
